Malayattoor Janakeeya Vikasana Samithi starts a new and precious step in their activity field. On this Christmas season 25 December 2015 to 1 January 2016 Celebrated Malayattoor Mega Carnival it’s name NAKSHATHRA THADAKAM - means Star’s lake. 5015 Stars and electric colorful lights decorate around the Manappattuchira. Malayattoor – Neeleeswaram grama panchayath’s big stadium and ground near on this lake. Malayattoor Carnival arranged on this ground. 80 ft. Santa Claus’s work is progress at near the lake.

മലയാറ്റൂർ മലയടിവാരത്തുള്ള മണപ്പാട്ടു ചിറയ്ക്കു ചുറ്റും ക്രിസ്തുമസ്സ് കാലത്ത് തെളിയിക്കുന്ന 5015 നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട നക്ഷത്ര തടാകം - കാർണിവലിന്റെ സ്വാഗത സംഘം ഓഫീസ് ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട എം.എൽ.എ. സാജു പോൾ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. രക്ഷാധികാരിയായ അഡ്വ. ജോസ് തെറ്റയിൽ എം.എൽ.എ. അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. ചെയർമാൻ ഷാഗിൻ കണ്ടത്തിൽ, ഫിനാൻസ് ക¬ട്രോളർ റവ. ഫാ. ജോഷി കളപ്പറമ്പത്ത് , ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീമതി അനിമോൾ ബേബി, ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് മെമ്പർ സാംസ¬ ചാക്കോ, ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് മെമ്പർ വനജ സദാനന്ദൻ, വാർഡ് മെമ്പർ മിനി ബാബു ചീഫ് കോഡിനേറ്റർ ബിജു ആബേൽ ജേക്കബ്, പ്രോജക്ട് മാനേജർ വിത്സ¬ അപ്രക്കുടി എന്നിവർ ആശംസകൾ നേർന്ന് സംസാരിച്ചു.
2015 ഡിസംബർ 25 മുതൽ 2016 ജനുവരി 1 വരെ തിയതികളിലാണ് മലയടിവാരത്ത് നക്ഷത്ര തടാകം എന്ന പേരില് കാർണിവൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.
